So, tell me about “Captain Awesome”!
Captain Awesome is the best character that any actor could hope to play. He’s an All-American guy who tries to be the best at everything he does, sometimes to a fault. Not to mention, he really fills out a pair of spandex.

Ha ha. That’s always a plus. Aside from the spandex, how alike are you and Captain Awesome in real life?
I didn’t think we were that alike until the writers decided that Captain Awesome is going to drive a minivan and buys sleep machines for every room in the house. I have to admit that I’m buying a minivan and I use sleep machines, so I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

That I will. Ok, so tell me about your time in the Outback before you decided to move to California for acting. What areas did you most enjoy exploring?
I slept on a beach in Byron Bay and started surfing when the sun came up, then I made my way north to scuba dive on the reef in Cairns. Every moment of the time I spent there had a significant impact on me. I highly recommend traveling by yourself at some point in your life. You really discover the world and how you fit in it.
